Freelance work can be a pain for both parties involved. 41 dollars is my one-man attempt to change that. It's a simple concept: If I think I can complete your project in less than a day, I'll do it for $41. Email me about your project, and let's see if we can knock it out in a day.
What can I do in less than a day?
For a start, I put together this site in a day. Basically, I have two skills: design and development.
Design
Including logos, web design, and print work such as posters, postcards, bookmarks and magazine ads. Of course, not all of that was done in just one day.
Development
Including HTML, ASP, PHP, MySQL, MS SQL, Wordpress setup, custom Wordpress themes and plugins, AJAX, and more. Again, not everything I've developed was done in a day.
The Nitty Gritty
When it works, it's a great thing. I get diverse projects with limited scope, and you get a talented, experienced freelancer at an amazing price. I bet you're wondering, "What's the catch?"
I feel confident that you will be satisfied with my work, but the purpose of 41dollars.com is so that we both can be picky. I get to be picky about which projects I choose, and you get to be picky about whether or not I meet your needs.
If you're not completely satisfied with the work I've done, don't pay. I won't deliver the final product, and we can part ways. I've lost a day's free time, and you've lost a day waiting. Of course, I also reserve the right to give up. If the project starts to get bigger than I anticipated, rather than see it through, I'll quit and apologize for making you wait a day for nothing.
That's it. There's no other risk involved, and you can feel safe knowing that you will only pay once you have a finished project that makes you 100% happy.
